Editorial: It's the final countdown

By Jessica Payne

In a year full of unpreceded changes there is one thing that is constant, finals are coming. If you need help, now is the time to act, before it is too late.

Finals start the week of December 7th and now is the time to prepare. Sauk has many resources if you are struggling in your classes.

If you need help with mathematics, accounting, biology, chemistry, CIS, statistics, physics, psychology, or economics, the learning commons offers tutoring to help you. If you are interested or have questions you can contact them through email at lac@svcc.edu or call at (815)835-6293.

Their fall hours are currently Monday – Thursday 8am to 7pm, and Fridays 8am to 2pm.

There is also the writing center that is ready to help with any writing related assignment from any class. For more information or to set up an appointment you can contact them by calling 815-835-6398 or emailing writing.center@svcc.edu.

All tutoring services are free to students.

Now is the time to prepare for finals, so make sure you are talking to your teachers and getting the help you need to succeed.

It’s okay to ask for help, and now is the time to act, before it is too late.

You can access your classes finals schedule by going to svcc.edu, schedules, and then selecting Final Exams schedule.
